The Brooklyn Botanical Garden offers Free Days every Tuesdays for the general public. The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is also offers Free Days for Seniors on Fridays and Free Weekdays for the general public from Nov 17, 2009 to March 2, 2010.

The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is located at 1000 Washington Avenue. The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is open Tuesday–Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm; Weekends and holidays: 10:00am to 4:30pm; Closed Monday (but open holiday Mondays);

Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a world-renowned botanic garden in Brooklyn, New York, USA, located near the neighborhoods Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, and Park Slope. About 25 minutes from midtown Manhattan by subway, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is a 52-acre garden including a number of specialty “gardens within the Garden,” plant collections, and the Steinhardt Conservatory, which houses the C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum, three climate-themed plant pavilions, a white cast-iron and glass aquatic house, and an art gallery. Founded in 1910, the Garden holds over 10,000 taxa of plants and each year welcomes over 700,000 visitors from around the world.

Free guided tours of Brookly Botancial Garden are offered at 1 p.m. on weekends; no reservations are needed. Special group tours, led by Garden Guides, are available for a fee, Tuesday–Sunday by appointment. Brooklyn Museum–Brooklyn Botanic Garden lunch tours are offered Wednesday–Sunday.
